It has now been established that James Eagan Holmes, the killer who shot down 14 innocents in the Century 16 cinema hall of the Aurora in Colorado which was screening the latest Batman movie was a PhD student without any friends.

It was a midnight show of ‘Batman – the Dark Knight Rises’.
He had planned the attack to the minutest detail – he bought a ticket, opened a fire exit and left the door ajar for escape. He also conducted the massacre calmly.
This incident highlights the mental state of the youth of today –they pursue their studies or professions but are restless and at the back of their minds there lurks a vicious nature.
It seems James Eagan Holmes was a well-educated person – he graduated in neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside and enrolled for a PhD curse in the University of Colorado, Denver.
His apartment had been booby trapped with chemical and incendiary bombs which could be activated by tripwires.
The police are still trying to discover his motive and have ruled out his links to any terror group.
