Designer Kelly Carrington joined her models to present her 2013 swimwear collection the Éclairée Presentation for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013 at The Raleigh on July 20, 2012 in Miami, Florida.
Modeling some of her own pieces – extremely well, might one add – Carrington showed a collection that centers around color-blocked bodycon pieces in a color pallete featuring coral and peach, jade, turquoise, beige, black and white.
There were also maillots with a zipper front like a dive suit might have with color blocking that shapes the body in a flattering way.
Netting is also used with lycra materials to create a striped effect in both swimsuits and coverups, in particular the swimsuits that incorporated vertical stripes over the torso and horizontal in the bottom half.
The peach colored bodycon dress with the beige tripe going down the center was both sexy and sporty to transition one from the swim to a party or outing…
Color blocked chiffon shirts in tasty sherbet colors were also enticing – with or without long sleeves – to wear over a swimsuit as a coverup or with anything else as well as resortwear!
The black polo shirt dress worn by Carrington was also intriguing in that it featuring an interesting shoulderless design and pale gold trim at the collar and buttoned neckline. Nicely done, Éclairée!
