Democrat Flag Flap: McCain and Sarah Palin's Supporters Use Democratic Flag Leftovers at Colorado Campaign Stop

Denver : CO : USA | about 1 year ago
Views: 181

Bags of flag, leftovers or surpluses from the recent Democratic convention in Denver, Colorado, were rescued by Republican supporters who are planning on using them at a campaign stop by John McCain and Sarah Palin. The supporters said that the bags of flag were found near a dumpster. They had to do some dumpster diving to rescue some of them. They complained that the flags were not appropriately disposed of. They have been actively passing these flags to republicans attending the campaign stop today. John McCain and Sarah Palin will address the crowd made festive with all the free flags.

As if to give a black eye to those who dumped all these good flags, the supporters or Republican flag rescuers asked the new flag users to refrain from doing the same thing the Democrats did. They are asking them to return the flags to them after using them. They will find other uses for them. They may want to decorate cemeteries and use them on military parades etc..
