BREAKING NEWS: Shooting in Movie Theater (Aurora Colorado)--10 people killed, many injured!

At this time, 14 have been pronounced dead and 50 were wounded earlier this morning when a man opened fire at the premiere of Dark Knight Rises inside of a movie theater in Aurora, CO.

A person started shooting within the Century 16 Movie Theaters at the Aurora Town Center 15 minutes after the midnight screening of the movie began.

The shooter planned his massacre to begin as soon as there was a shootout scene in the Batman movie. Witnesses stated that he threw some sort of bomb with tear gas and began shooting an automatic weapon. People didn't react immediately because they thought it was part of the movie. The man was dressed in all black and was wearing goggles, a riot helmet, and a bullet proof vest.

The 911 dispatch center received a flood of calls at 12:39 MST saying that a shooting happened. Police and ambulance were immediately sent to the scene. The suspect was arrested when he was found hiding behind a vehicle.

The sad part is that this massacre could have been prevented because it seems like there wasn't a police detail already on the scene before the movie even started.

My condolences go out to all of the family members of the victims. Why is Colorado making massacres a once in a decade trend?
