The British Open Golf 2012 leaderboard live coverage continues in day 2 action with Adam Scott of Australia leads 6-under-par 64 after the opening round Thursday at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Golf Club. Royal Lytham set back in shoreline proximity that the cold wind from the sea still comes into play in a wet England summer. Lytham St Annes weather forecast today will be 60% of rain with showers in morning to light rain during the afternoon hours.

Tiger Woods opens 67 shot in the British Open Golf 2012 leaderboard after day 1, his 10th times in a major previously and went winning 6 titles of those tournaments, could this be Tiger's 7th win? Funny tweet of the day is that, 'Adam Scott leading the Open using Tiger Woods old swing and caddy.' Some wish if Adam Scott and Tiger Woods are in the final grouping on Sunday noting that Tiger Woods long time caddy ended up working on Scott.

Scott was pretty confident going in day 2 at the Open Championship, "It was just like a nice walk in the park today," Scott said. "And it was not what we've experienced in the practice rounds. I'm sure there's going to be some weather elements thrown at us the next three days, so just going to have to knuckle down to handle that. But I'm confident."

Trailing behind Scott in going low were Paul Lawrie, Zach Johnson and Nicolas Colsaerts each shot 65. Brandt Snedeker of United States turned in at 66 while Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy were among at 67 along with six more others in a log jam.

Tiger Woods scorecard spent some time atop the leaderboard with 4 birdies early until 14 holes at 4 under but stumbled in his tee shot at the 15th and ended up taking bogey. At the end of the day he finished within three shots of the leader, still in good position for another run at his 15th major championship and his first in four years. The real action starts today as golfers vie for the cut at the 141st British Open. Check this page later in tracking Tiger Woods live scorecard at The Open Championship 2012, Go Here
