On saturday the supply of oil and containers via pak afghan highway resumed. the political administration official sources said that the supply of oil and containers to the NATO and ISAF in Afghanistan resumed after a day suspending. On friday 5th of september, the government of pakistan suspended the oil and containers supply to afghanistan where the NATO and ISAF are fighting against Taliban and other militants. The interior minister Ahmad mukhtar confirmed the suspending of the oil and containers supply to afghanistan via pak-afghan highway the western border of Torkham. though the political agent of khyber agency mr. tariq hayat khan told the media men that the suspending of oil and containers is due to the security concerns on pak-afghan high way. however the suspending of oil and containers via western border Torkham was for a day long and it was resumed by the government again. The NATO spokesman told in an interview that they are not told yet that oil and containers supply is suspended via wester Torkham border of pakistan.
Though the pakistan government officials said that the suspending was only for the security concerns via pak-afghan highway khyber agency. But the supply which was suspended only 24 hours back by the pak government is amazingly resumed again with in 24 hours. according to the sources the supply was only suspended via western torkham border. After the verbal resuming order the suppliers once again started the supply of oil and containers to Afghanistan. while there is no precautionary steps taken by the government as they told the mediamen a day back that the supply would be resumed after making the security satisfactory.
