TV9 News : Pakistan SC Convicts 'Yousuf Raza Gilani' in Contempt Case, No Prison

Abdul Qadir Gillani, son of former prime minister Yausaf Raza Gillani who had been ousted from the National Assembly of Pakistan, for contempt of court, has been elected on the thus vacant seat in House from Multan. The 60,000+ voters who opted for him, should now be issued contempt of court notice by Arsalan Iftikhar’s father, the chief justice of Pakistan, Chaudhary Ifitikhar, who is these days busy restoring the image of the chief court through contempt proceedings against everybody who matters. Otherwise the earlier verdict of the Supreme Court will be deemed as contempt of the people who had voted the former PM into Parliament for five years in the 2008 elections. The election result is also a contempt of those commentators and anchors who feel that PPP is no more a factor in Pakistan politics.
