Tanzania: ferry sinks, 31 people died.

BBC said the ferry MV Skagit, leaving Dar es Salaam City 18-7 at 12pm local time to the island capsized when Zanzibarda nearby Chumbe Island, off Zanzibar.

At least 31 people dead after a ferry carrying about 280 passengers and crew, including many foreigners, sank near the island of Zanzibar. Rescuers are still searching for missing persons.

According to preliminary information from officials of the island of Zanzibar, in the deaths of two Europeans. 145 people were saved, but dozens of others missing.
