The US President Barack Obama has condemned the attack on a tourist bus in Bulgaria and has said that it was a ‘barbaric terrorist attack’.
The bomb attack on a bus carrying 30 Israeli tourists to the Bulgarian Black Sea resort has left at least 6 holidaymakers dead as reported in Australian.com.au of dated 19th of July 2012.
The Israeli authorities have put the blame on Iran, their arch enemies and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has remarked that ‘all signs point to Iran’.
The incident had happened near the Sarafovo airport and took place when the tourists were boarding the bus and placing their luggage in the luggage compartment of the bus.
Shots had been fired at the bus and later a bomb was thrown into it.
Netanyahu has reminded that although this was the first attack on Israelis on Bulgarian soil, Israelis have been targets in different parts of the world like Thailand, India, Georgia, Kenya, and Cyprus in the recent past.
