Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn were on location at the Project Runway Life-Sized Interactive Runway installation on the High Line in New York on July 17, 2012 to celebrate the milestone 10th anniversary of Lifetime show Project Runway.
The Project Runway show personalities mixed it up with a Christmas List of former contestants and designers including Nanette Lepore, Mondo Guerra and Kenley Collins.
To celebrate Project Runway's 10th anniversary, Lifetime, partnered up with Friends of the High Line, to transform a portion of the High Line in New York City into a virtual runway with a dynamic 20-foot long interactive installation on the elevated park featuring host Heidi Klum, mentor Tim Gunn and judges Michael Kors and Nina Garcia.
The installation gives fans and fashionistas the opportunity to experience and share their “Make It Work Moments” using state-of-the-art “human tracking technology” mixing real-time virtual emotions of Klum, Gunn, Garcia and Kors reacting to passersby as they walk the High Line.
For the occasion, Heidi wore a sleeveless LBD (little black dress), accessorized with beige peeptoe pumps, while Gunn donned a grey plaid suit and pale grey necktie.
Singer Debbie Harry graced the event in a tangerine and turquoise tunic and Capri pants, accessorized with gold sandals, while fashionista Fern Mallis looked lovely the coral pink pants and the chiffon top!
Attending were designer Rebecca Minkoff and husband Gavin Bellour, Peach Carr, Jack Mackenroth, Christiane Lemieux (loved the striped skirt!), Joshua McKinley, Austin Scarlett and Stacey Bendet. Enjoy the slideshow…
