Oak Grove teenager accused of arson

Oak Grove Louisiana.Stacy James George, 19, of Oak Grove was arrested Friday by the police and is in a West Carroll parish prison on a charge of simple arson. George's bond was set at $10,000.

George alledgedly set a fire that burned 600 acres of land in West Carroll Parish as reported by Louisiana Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain.

If George is convicted of the arson charge he could face a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.

A member of Mike Strain's office said the fire on July 13 near Kilborne did not injure anyone.
