On Sunday, the authorities found two females’ lifeless bodies from Clinton County, close to Trimble, Missouri. It is feared the bodies found are of the two white women Britny Haarup and Ashley Key; two sisters, missing from an Edgerton home since Friday.
The bodies were discovered while during the search efforts for above mentioned Missouri sisters; Britny and Ashley, 19 and 22 respectively, were reported missing by Matt Meyers, Haarup’s fiancé. Matt had informed cops that upon his return, he observed that Britny was not home while his two daughters, 6 and 18 months of age, lay all alone at home, in one crib.
According to Capt. Erik Holland of Platte County’s Sheriff’s Office, the officials could discover the bodies from a field; after they nabbed a person of interest who later led them to the area. After interrogating the suspect in Missouri sisters’ disappearance, the detectives learned about the bodies they believe are of poor sisters.
However, Erik said he was not in a position to either immediately confirming the victims’ identities or to say anything whether how the women had died. Relatives informed the detectives that they saw blood the couch inside the Edgerton residence from where the girls went missing. They further informed that a truck was also missing from the house which was later found.
The vehicle was towed to crime laboratory Kansas City; to be checked for evidence. Haarup’s devastated mother Taresa Haarup said the moment Matt told her about the incident; she knew something was terribly wrong.
