Newest Knick Jason Kidd Arrested For DWI

Jason Kidd, the new point guard of the New York Knicks, was arrested on Sunday for driving while intoxicated. Kidd, who left the Dallas Mavericks to sign with the Knicks as a free agent last week, ran into a telephone pole in the single car accident. His attorney, Ed Burke Jr. said, "He suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from a local hospital. Jason has pleaded not guilty to a DWI charge and awaits further court proceedings." Kidd played on the 2011 NBA champion Dallas Mavericks.
