Baton Rouge Louisiana. Baton Rouge police have arrested Katina Carter, 29, who is accused of stabbing to death her live in boyfriend Ladrian Davis, 26, after an argument Sunday morning.

An affadavit of possible cause reported Carter stabbed Davis in the chest around 1am Sunday in the The Hidden Pointe Apartments complex at 11850 Wenting Drive.

Maya Thompson, 17, an eyewitness and a next door neighbor said she was outside the apartment with a friend and witnessed some of the fight.

Thompson said Carter claimed Davis punched her in the eye. Carter had taken Davis car keys and his credit card and was leaving in his vehicle with a knife in her possession. Carter left with Davis vehicle and returned 10 minutes later. Carter then returned into the apartment and stabbed Davis in the chest with the knife.

Thompson said Davis after he was stabbed fell down the stairs, staggered out of the apartment and fell into a puddle in the parking lot.

Thompson said two men came out and carried Davis into a vehicle and left the area. Davis died later from his wound.

Corporal Tommy Stubbs said Carter admitted stabbing Davis with the knife and surrendered to the police peacefully.

Carter was booked into the East Baton Rouge Prison on one count of second degree murder.
