Pakistan tragedy: Eight drowned into Indus River

The 1960 Indus Water Treaty gave India and Pakistan three Himalayan rivers each

DIAMER: Eight people were drowned into Indus River when chain trolley Girari which were using for crossing the river broke and fell into river at here Gase Pain village Gonar Farm, on Sunday.

The people were crossing the river through the Girari in order to reach on other side bank of the river. The local lift is called as Girari.

Eight people were boarded in a Girari and when it reached in the center of the river, the rope of Girari broke due to over leading and all the eight people fell into river and drowned.

Local people and administration reached on the spot and started searching the dead bodies. No body has been recovered yet.
