Two rock stars had the plug pulled on them after exceeding the time limit at a concert in London's Hyde Park.

Main act Bruce Springsteen welcomed Sir Paul McCartney on stage for renditions of the Beatles' I Saw Her Standing There and Twist and Shout. But their microphones were cut off before they could thank the crowds because for over-running the Hard Rock Calling event after playing for more than three hours.

The American rock star, had preformed hits such as Born In The USA and Because The Night, backed by his E Street Band.

Both had to leave the stage in silence.
