Mainstream media supporting Ron Paul after sleeping with the establishment?

Fox News for Ron Paul

After a long run of most major media outlets keeping Ron Paul in black-out status, it is quite curious as to the motivation and meaning behind a surge of positive mainstream reporting about the revolutionary Republican presidential candidate in the past couple of months. Have they had a wake-up call?

What could possibly be driving these stations to jump into the arena with the Liberty movement after they've slept with the establishment and corporations for so long? I mean, think about it, most of America remains incognizent at the prospect Ron Paul is still hoping to sit in the Oval Office because of all the lousy coverage, or, rather, the lack thereof.

A passionate Ron Paul supporter recently wrote a comment about the mainstream media (M$M) under one of my articles:

countficula Up yours M$M, death to the "OLD MEDIA" cronies! Though I want to grab the whole of America and scream as loud as I can in it's face, I am just going to type it. Please wake up now! We can still get our country back from the enemies of the state foreign AND DOMESTIC. Romney IS Obama, Obama sold us all down river, the guy that wouldn't...no couldn't be a part of it turns out to be the absolute worst yet! If the world bankers and their familiars in our government aren't turned back right now our childrens future is a dark place indeed. In case you are reading this and don't have kids you just don't know what the fear is like. Once you care about someone far more than you do yourself fighting tooth and nail is the only option! FOR OUR COUNTRY's SAKE VOTE RON PAUL!!!!!!!

These are certainly scary times with the dollar falling, jobs decreasing, and the economy steadily going south which brings a lot of Americans to the side of Ron Paul, even if they don't agree with him on all the issues, they know he is about saving America's money, liberty, and getting BIG government off our back.

Meanwhile, back to the news...most Restore America campaigners usually get theirs from a local Cincinnati investigative journalist Ben Swann, Reality check; Ron Paul web sites, thedailypaul, ronpaul2012, and YouTube; and citizen's journalists, Examiner and Allvoices. However, recently a few well-known news stations feature Ron Paul and proclaim, even before Nebraska, he earned his way to Tampa.

First, CNN, of all news stations, said, Ron Paul could be the man America needs. Most Constitutional freedom fighters must have rolled their eyes in disbelief when they first saw that video with all the negative coverage CNN dished out from the genesis of his race to the White House.

Next, there's Rachel Maddow of MSNBC. She's all into Ron Paul news with her recent shows. Some complete with props and sound effects: The GOP can't ignore Ron Paul even if DC media does, Ron Paul may leave outsider status in Tampa, Rachel Maddow interviews a Ron Paul delegate, and Ron Paul could be nominated at the Republican National Convention.

Finally, believe it or not, Fox News has been chiming in regularly with Fox News admits Ron Paul won five states and John Stossel may have spoken Ron Paul in Did Fox News endorse Ron Paul?

It is shocking; to say the least, as to why MSNBC, CNN and Fox News are communicating in such a way that seems as if they may be giving Ron Paul a boost. As a past Ron Paul delegate for my precinct, I find it rather amusing, but certainly am a bit skeptical. Why do you think the mainstream media has jumped on the limited government train--or have they?

"death to the "OLD MEDIA" cronies! "
Really? Death? Could be your neighbor. Or a neighbor's relative. Paul's game has always been to divide not unite so it's never surprising when his followers spew out extremist rhetoric but the norm. Thanks for shining a light on it! After only winning 2 out of 30 delegates in Nebraska today he will not be on the ballot in Tampa nor even guaranteed the speech he had been hoping for all along. Most of his campaign have jumped ship long ago with Gary Howard joining the RNC last week and Paul's own son Rand selling out his Father by endorsing Romney a few weeks before that. More likely Ron will repeat 2008 and not even show up at the RNC but host a rally of his own down the street. Oh , right....

Hey Stewart Little, I believe Countficula was saying death to the organization, not human bodies! Now who is the extremist?

Highly respected Former NYC Mayor Ed Koch disagrees in an interview posted today:
Mayor Koch: Ron Paul's candidacy for President, for me, was that of a David Duke without an armband.

I hope the Ron Paul people make their presence known in a big way at the GOP convention. They were so quick to write Paul off. I'm not his biggest fan but I still think he would be a better choice than Mitt and his Swiss bank account.

You can count on that Maryann! I am sure we will see the revolution alive and well.

Ron Paul has concrete solutions for U.S. problems. Romney has no plausible alternative to what Obama is doing-i.e. only Paul can bring positive change to our nation.

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN WEBSITE:
Jack Hunter writes:
"That Ron Paul will not be president is of little concern to me.... No doubt, the Tampa convention will be a coronation for Mitt Romney....Ron Paul will not be president."

http://www.ronpaul2012.com/2012/07/15/ron-paul-nebraska-and-our-stupid-media/

Since I do not own a tin foil hat or secret Ron Paul decoder ring I can't wait to read how his supporters spin this. Esp. the "Ron Paul will NOT be president" part. Again, from the official Ron Paul 2012 Campaign Website.

PS: if anyone has info on how to obtain one of those nifty decoder rings please post here.

"For now, however, Paul's senior campaign adviser Doug Wead says that Paul's fate with regard to the convention this summer is largely in Romney's hands.

"Really what Dr. Paul does and what his role is will be decided in the Romney camp," Wead told CBS News, of whether or not Paul makes an appearance in Tampa. "There are Romney staffers that reach out to us that tell us that they want our voters and supporters in the general election," as well as, he said, those who think a Paul endorsement could be a liability.

fidelity with the establishment, decided to
taste the forbidden joys of infidelity:P

interesting. it's a shame that coverage ever gets limited to just 2 candidates until closer to the election. hopefully coverage of RP continues to grow, because I agree, more Americans need to learn about his ideas and policies regarding the economy.
