Poll Says Obama Will Handle Alien Invasion Better Than Romney
Poll Says Obama Will Handle Alien Invasion Better Than Romney - as part of the news series by GeoBeats. 80 million Americans believe that unidentified flying objects, or UFOs, piloted by extra terrestrials are real, according to a survey done by the National Geographic Channel. One in ten people surveyed are convinced that they have seen a UFO, and 79 percent of the survey takers think that the government is covering up information about UFOs, with 65 percent responding that they think Barack Obama would be more prepared to handle an alien invasion than Mitt Romney. 22 percent of the people who participated in the survey said they would try to befriend an alien visitor and only 2 percent would try to physically attack the extra terrestrials. Dubbed the 'Aliens Among Us' survey, the study was conducted by Kelton Research using email and online polls of 1114 Americans. "We wanted to get a sense of how Americans view UFOs, what people believe and how mainstream pop culture may or may not be playing into their opinions on it." said Brad Dancer, senior vice president of research and digital media for National Geographic. What do you think - will Obama or Romney handle an alien invasion better?
