Philippine President Benigno

It seems that the Philippines, regardless of increasing rates and improvement based on latest reports remained on the verge of critical times.

As President Benigno Aquino III had a lengthy speech in the halls of Batasang Pambansa, it seems that the accelerationindicators of progress in some economic sectors where the Philippine advantage is old news: BPO, tourism, maybe agriculture. of crisis continues to move upward, rather than downward due to the contradictions prevailing in the society. Thinking that despite the achievements the administration failed to seriously focus on matters people generally affected. Be it employment, social services or agrarian question.

And according to the address stated, in challenging critics to look at data concerning the status of the Philippines as of these days, how come poverty increased from 9.1 to 11.1 despite so-called measures a reforms including those of Conditional Cash Transfer programs and stuff? Even failed to failed to emphasize how slow the Philippines still is in industrial growth that must provide more and better job opportunities to more Filipinos despite bragging about "indcators" of progress similar to Arroyo's: Outsourcing, Tourism, even Agriculture with the latter that is, obviously had more problems than successes due to failure to impose land reform.

And since most tend to say that the current address as full of half-truths and alloofness such as being against the "Freedom of Information Act", of failure to capture Jovito Palparan and his loyal horde of barbarians in uniforms, are there any transparency left in today's regime people expected from it- especially that in the FOI bill promised to many? There are other more obligations Aquino failed to speak upon clearly to most, that in education sector for example, he failed to study regarding 142, 483 teachers, 97,685 classrooms and 153,709 sanitation facilities needed and this time worsened by the implementation of a program that tries to "go with the international standard" such as from Kinder to grade 12.

Quite strange so to speak, that as new wave of contradictions are to be expected by many despite efforts to rally people over their so-called "righteous path" that is, confusing; especially with President Aquino had spoke his speech regarding the current state of the nation, there are certain issues Aquino failed or missed to be spoken, creating an ire that resorted to the protests happened lately in Commonewalth Ave. wherein a brawl with the police happened.

After all, despite the bragging rights and contradictions failed to tacke upon, what kind of righteous path Aquino tackled upon, in whic direction is the Philippine society going as of these days? Will it remain in a right course? Or as a killer highway?

Perhaps let the people think and decide for now.
