Here is an interesting piece of news for royalists all over the globe. Prince William and Kate Middleton have apparently been sneaking off regularly for secret rendezvous at Anstruther in Scotland. Well, you cheeky devils, the cat is now out of the bag!!!
Fact is both Wills and Kate have a soft-spot for Scotland. They have nostalgic memories of the place. After all it is at St. Andrews, where they both studied at the university, that they first fell in love. The royal duo would like to recreate the same atmosphere by returning to the place as often as they possibly can.
Apparently Wills and Kate would try to fit in trips adjusting their hectic public schedules, making time to enjoy some memorable time together at the idyllic Balmoral estate. From there they would also make getaway plans to Anstruther, where in their younger days the love birds enjoyed some incredible times together.
William’s close buddy Jules Knight, the Blake singer, recently spoke about the couple's romance to OK! Magazine. Knight disclosed: “They were always spending time together, going down to Anstruther (a town in Fife) to go banana boating or playing golf or going for a walk.”
Wills and Kate are literally revered in Scotland and addressed as the Earl and Countess of Strathearn. Just last Thursday, the royals delighted their fans by traveling to Edinburgh where Prince William was crowned Knight of the Thistle, in a spectacular ceremony at St. Giles Cathedral.
The ever elegant Countess Catherine, (former Kate Middleton) gladdened the hearts of her Scottish fans by wearing a striking Strathearn tartan scarf with her pale yellow Emilia Wickstead coat. Wills and Kate, meanwhile have a hectic itinerary ahead as they take on the prestigious roles as Olympic Ambassadors for London 2012.
However, it’s quite likely they will manage to slip in a trip to their much loved Scotland sometime soon and also make regular visits to the north of the border, as can be ascertained from certain recent reports.
Prince William is understood to be very interested in a transfer to RAF Lossiemouth, Moray, in 2013 with wife Kate Middleton said to be looking forward to the idea of joining him there. A senior RAF source in early part of the year told ‘The Mirror’: “Lossiemouth will also give the chance for William to command his own helicopter.”
