Yi Ling, 84, China’s ‘oldest transsexual,’ told her story how she live as being a woman and keeping silence for all those years. It kept her too long to admit who she really is because she was worried about her family, she thought it would bring trouble for them.

In 1997, homosexuality in China was decriminalized and now it allows transsexuals to officially change their genders. Her story is a clear illustration of how China is changing.
