An Al-Qaida supporter 26-year old Rezwan Ferdaus of the US has admitted of his plan to attack installations like the Pentagon and the Capitol in US through model planes as reported in theaustralian.com.au of dated 11th of July 2012.
He was a lone wolf extremist and his plan was to use model planes loaded with C-4 plastic explosives. He now faces 17-years in prison.
Rezwan was unmarried, and a physics graduate from Boston's Northeastern University and had a knack for carrying out technical work.
He was an al-Qa'ida supporter and had committed himself to "violent jihad" early last year.
It appears he had said in court that he had painted a white Playboy bunny on the tail end of one of three model planes – he called his airplanes as small drones.
