rtvm.gov.ph Rizal Hall, Malacañang 08 November 2010 President Benigno S. Aquino III conferred the Order of the Golden Heart with the Rank of Grand Collar Award to Rodolfo V. Quizon Sr., popularly known as "Dolphy", the Comedy King. He was given the award for his lifetime achievements in show business with good-nature and decent entertainment. He was also awarded for his well-known philanthropic and charitable works through Dolphy Aid Para sa Pinoy Foundation, Inc. which reached out to millions of needy Filipinos. The Comedy King jokingly received his award as if he was about to faint. In his short speech, Dolphy said that he, his family and friends will be forever grateful for the award given to him. He said, "I will treasure this award until my memorial park." Dolphy is the second national artist to receive the award after Helen Keller on May 1955. * * *
