Stories from the Obama Economy

The Republican campaign for the November elections raised over $106 million USD in June, a record for a month in this race, and Democrats got $71 million USD in an equal period.

For second consecutive month, Republicans surpassed Democrats in raising money, The Washington Post reported today.

Almost $5 million USD reached the Republican coffers hardly 24 hours after the Justice Supreme Court declared as constitutional a health care law by President Barack Obama, the newspaper states.

Spencer Zwick, responsible for the finances of Mitt Romney, virtual candidate of that party, stated that the rise in donations last month is a clear message that U.S. voters wish a change in the White House policy, because Obama has broken the promises he made during his 2008 campaign.
