A new campaign in support of same sex marriage has been launched by Google by the name of “Legalize Love”
The campaign has been kicked off in Poland and Singapore on Saturday, July 7th.The sole purpose of the project is to legalize same-sex marriage across the globe. It's focus would be the places with homophobic cultures, where anti-gay laws exist apart from the fact that the intiative would be expanded to every country where the company has an office.
Earlier too, Google has shown its support to the program. For example, a gay marriage themed Google Doodle has been observed on Valentine's Day this year. Besides a blog post was also published by the company in 2008 which opposed ban on same-sex marriage regarding California amendment.
Google’s Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe spoke at a Global LGBT Workplace Summit in London:
“We want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office. It is obviously a very ambitious piece of work.'
