Models for designer Sebastian Ellrich took it sitting down at his fashion show for Berlin Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013 on July 7, 2012 in Berlin, Germany.
Models presented designs by Ellrich for his Spring/Summer 2013 collection while striking athletic and artistic poses, using chairs as props if they were not sitting for the audience enthralled by this latest collection…
Focusing on a spicy summer color pallete of orange, red, white, cream and beige, Ellrich featured designs for both men and women featuring both creative and simple, but wearable designs sans drama other than the performances by the models, that is…
Some definite possibilities in this collection include the colorblocked flared skirt in mandarin orange, coral and cream, paired with a white satin blouse that had a red lace overlay on the shoulders and sleeves. Sounds a bit busy but it’s definitely an interesting and distinct look for those who strive for individuality.
A deep mandarin colored lace dress with a halterneck and corset lacing on the back is very promising as well.
French Vanilla colored separates are also stamped in red with a graphic tree motif for a bit of handmade charm, while a common theme among the designs is a military stripe featured along women’s trousers. Not to be left out, those pantleg stripes also appear on men’s shorts and trousers.
Tuxedo jackets are also offered for women, much like you might’ve seen on German actress, such as Ellrich’s white jacket with red tuxedo collar, paired with red trousers with a white pinstripe going down the front of each leg.
Trench like coats are offered for both men and women, such as a hooded beige trench for men and an orange coat for women.
This is reportedly Sebastian Ellrich’s third collection after beginnings in costume and stage design for opera, film, dance and theatre productions.
