NASA TESTS ORION SPACECRAFT MOCK-UP AT KENNEDY SPACE CENTER - KSC (NEW)
The important equipment of new generation spacecraft called Orion was taken to Kennedy Space Center (Florida, USA), where scientists are preparing for the test flight of its first year in 2014. Orion is the next generation spacecraft to replace NASA's shuttle fleet has "retired" last year. Orion will be taken to the asteroid and the final destination is Mars. NASA has moved the flying supplies for the International Space Station ISS for commercial companies that typically ship Dragon X, to focus on hands-free long-term strategy for Orion. Space Agency - U.S. Space (NASA) said Orion's crust is made by an engineering firm in New Orleans, NASA experts will be fully assembled at Kennedy Space Center.
