Buffaloes and other cattles in large number are waiting in the trucks at Torkham to be taken to Afghanistan on the basis of permits issued from Islamabad and Khyber House, which usually creates shortage of meat and beef in the tribal regions and the rates of the meat go up, which deprives the poor people to buy it. An administration source revealed that if the cattle go with official permits then why the khasadar Force personnel are forcing the truckers to pay them money illegally.
