Don't believe what the critics were saying about Perry Jones III having a bum knee. That's not true. The reason Jones III almost fell out of the draft is because he does not fully realize his own potential.
It was frustrating watching him play in college because he was always the most athletic guy on the court. He can post up, he can rebound, he can go outside and hit the three, and he can also take his man off of the dribble at the top of the key or on the baseline.
With skills like these, he should have been unguardable in college. However, his own passivity kept him from becoming an elite player. Personally, he is the most passive player I have seen play in about 20 years. We'll see if OKC can help to turn that potential into productivity.
