NY Knicks Fans Respond To The #48 Kostas Papanikolaou Pick

48. Kostas Papanikolaou - F - Olympiakos (Greece). 6'8", 230.

Since the Knicks are over the salary cap, the organization made the right move to draft an international player and stash him away for a couple of years.

Papanikolaou is a key component on Olympiakos, winners of last season's Euroleague Championships. He is a solid small forward. He needs to develop his jump shot before he will be ready for the NBA. However, one must assume that he will work on his shot because he plays in Greece and because Greece is broke.
