The Pistons now have the defensive stopper in the middle that they have missed for quite some time. Drummond will make a definite impact on the defensive end, which would allow for the Pistons to improve next season. However, he will need to rebound more, which is why some critics question his passion for the game. He also needs to address his offensive game as well because dunking should never be the only offensive option. Plus, he must practice his free throw shooting extensively. I can definitely defeat him in a free throw contest without any doubt in my mind. Work on it!
Middleton fell to the second round after an injury-filled season. He could end up being a second round steal for the Pistons if he stays healthy because he can get to the rim and he rebounds well for a wing player.
English has three-point range as soon as he steps into the building. Every team always needs shooters. He will have to adjust to playing guard for Detroit because he played power forward in an undersized lineup in college.
