Japan Pandas in Ueno Zoo
Here is a look at the Giant Pandas at Ueno Zoo in Tokyo. Male Panda, "Ri Ri" or "Li Li" and Female Panda, "Shin Shin". They arrived in Japan in February 2011. The viewing of the pandas was postponed due to the Tohoku Kanto 9.0 Earthquake. This was the weekend before the Golden Week Vacation. We waited in line for about an hour. The wait during Golden Week was over two hours. It's been a big boost for businesses in the Ueno Area. It's PANDA FEVER!
