2012 NBA Draft Grades: Atlanta Hawks Select John Jenkins at No. 23

23. John Jenkins - G - Vanderbilt. 6'4", 212. 19.9 ppg, 44.2 3-pt %.

43. Mike Scott - F - Virginia. 6'8", 241. 18.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg.

Atlanta desperately needed a three-point shooter to come off of the bench. That problem has been solved with Jenkins, who was one of the best three-point shooters in college last season. More pressure will be placed on his shooting prowess now after Joe Johnson was traded to the Nets.

Scott will be able to procure some minutes off of the bench because he is a tireless worker on the court. Even though he is a little undersized at power forward in the NBA, he was double-teamed plenty in college since he was the only offensive option, yet he still obtained plenty of points and rebounds.

Grade: B+
