Point guard Jameer Nelson agrees to a new contract with the Orlando Magic

Orlando Florida. Free agent point guard Jameer Nelson told the Orlando Sentinel newspaper on Thursday have reached an agreement to play basketball with the Orlando Magic.

Nelson has played eight seasons with the Orlando Magic since he played his college basketball at St, Joesph's University. The Magic is the only team Nelson has played for during his professional basketball career.

The Orlando Sentinel reports Nelson said of his new contract in which the details were not announced. "I was prepared to go where I was needed to go to continue my career, and I think I kind of expressed that to the organization. But I also told them that I would love to come back. Genuinely I love the city. I love the organization. The DeVos family means a lot to myself and my family and it means a lot to me that they always put out a winning product."
