A trip to La Mesa Ecopark

According to ABS-CBN News posted as of July 4, 9:16 p. m., residents living near the vicinity of La Mesa Dam in Quezon City are strongly recommended to evacuate because of the water level which is nearing spilling point.

The dam’s water level was at 79.86 as of 8:15 p.m. nearing the overflow point of 80.15, dam’s headworks manager Engr. Teddy Angeles said. There is great possibility that the dam would overflow and cause floods if heavy rains continue.

All concerned are given this red alert to prevent undue loss of lives.
