Telstra has made additional changes to their KAZ business by restructuring the business in NSW and VIC which has resulted in the loss of a senior manager. This further enhances the IT industry's view that Telstra are looking to minimise costs within Kaz as much as possible now that the attempts to sell the business have failed.

Also the shared services functions within Kaz including HR and Procurement will be merged into the Telstra organisation, but at this stage job cuts are not predicted according to Telstra.
