5 Khasadars,a naib Subidar kidnapped

The five Khasadars including a Naib Subidar along with two civilians are still missing who were allegedly kidnapped by armed persons of Lashker-e-Islam from Ziarai check post in Khyber. The Naib Subidar Nisar Khan along with Khasadars and two guests were chatting on the mountain mould at Ziarai Check post when reportedly armed persons of Lashker-e-Islam reached there and picked them up from the check post. The kidnappers also took away two cars with them. The kidnappers set fire to a car and the room of khasadars where they were sleeping. An official of Khasadars told that Lashker –e-Islam might have kidnapped the Khasadars and the Naib Subidar to force the government to release their ten detained persons some days back at Jamrud, but the sources of Lashker –Islam has not confirmed it. In the post bloodless operation situation against Lashker-e-Islam in Landikotal, the political administration and the Khasadars have been feeling some kind of covert fear from the militants. So far the administration has not taken any initiatives to recover their Khasadars from the grip of the kidnappers.

Meanwhile Jirga was in progress to release the Jirga members of Khuga Khel Shinwari who were detained the other day. Political Administration arrested more than two- dozen persons belonging to Khuga Khel Shinwari tribe here on Wednesday and the crack down continued even on Thursday, told Subidar Major of Khasadar Force. In the crack down more than sixty shops have been sealed and some twenty vehicles seized so far. The political administration has started the crack down against Khuga Khel Shinwari tribe to force them to surrender Mufti Ijaz Shinwari, Ameer Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Khyber Agency and local leader of Tanzeem-e-Itehad Ulama.Mufti Ijaz Shinwari is wanted to Political Administration as he had allegedly invited Mangal Bagh Chief of Lashker -e-Islam to Landikotal a week ago, told an official. The official told that home of Mufti Ijaz Shinwari might be demolished if he refused to surrender before the administration as others have done before him. The senior six Jirga members of Khuga Khel tribe were asked by Tehsildar who sent them to jail for failure to present Mufti Ijaz Shinwari, told official of Khasadar force. The Jirga members consist of Malik Rasool Jan, Malik Tahr, Hafiz Walayat Shah and others.
