4th july 2011 - no electricity in usa

America is facing a major problem with its power - for the fourth day in succession more than 1.5 million had to go without any power due to the storms called a derecho, that is lashing the nothern parts as reported in foxnews.com dated 3rd July 2012.

Already 22 deaths have been reported due to stifling conditions and fumes of generators. This figure might increase because generators emit poisonous fumes which can be dangerous in enclosed spaces.

While light to a limited extent is available, the air-conditioners are a good as not there. It is believed that the situation might not improve soon.
