Giorgio Armani Prive Haute-Couture wowed the crowd at Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012/2013 at the Palais de Chaillot on July 3, 2012 in Paris, France.
Two by two, pairs of models rolled out hit after hit in variation as they graced the Giorgio Armani Prive Haute-Couture runway, wowing the crowd in a color palette to include silky shades of blue including powder blue, slate, navy, indigo, periwinkle, as well as purple, violet, pink and grey.
Among their stunning piece is a raw silk striped coat which starts out black at the top and goes through a gradation of colors and hues including indigo, violet, periwinkle, purple, lilac and mauve.
Another lovely striped number features a floor-length beaded skirt with silver, ice pink and rose stripes, topped with a strapless black top but the metallic contraption on the model’s head stole the show!
Similarly, there is a periwinkle, powder blue, lilac and pink striped jacket with black trim, teamed with black velvet pants and accessorized with another unusual metallic head and a crystal multi-strand necklace.
If you love pink, there is also a very pretty pale pink strapless dress with a delicate metallic motif not unlike sari material, topped with a black velvet stole and again a metallic cage type contraption as a headpiece…
To add a certain Gallic charm, many of these polished ensembles were accessorized with proper little black berets, fashionably tilted to the side.
Attending the Armani fashion show were Tokyo Vogue Editor-at-Large Anna Dello Russo (loved the shimmery silver ensemble!), American Vogue Editor-in-Chiefand daughter Bee Shaffer (both looking stunning!), , Dolores Chaplin, Virginie Courtin-Clarins, Carine Roitfeld and actress Claudia Cardinale.
