DENVER, Colorado – The military sources have announced that six Air Force tankers are restarting firefighting flights after these were put on hold following a deadly crash of one tanker over the weekend.

U.S. Northern Command says the flights will resume Tuesday (July 03).

The full fleet, comprised of eight C-130 planes, was grounded after one of these was crashed Sunday while fighting a wildfire in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The crash killed at least two crew members and injured four others on board.
