Queen Sofia of Spain, including members of her delegation, was treated to a dinner in Malacañang Palace Tuesday night by Philippine President Benigno Aquino III.
Queen Sofia arrived Monday for a four-day visit in the country.
Aquino hailed the strong relations between Spain and the Philippines, citing the vigorous development of bilateral cooperation.
He said Spain is the Philippines' 31st largest trading partner with bilateral trade reaching $329.6 million last year.
Queen Sofia, for her part, vowed to continue to help the Philippines with disaster preparedness.
The Queen will also visit some Spanish-funded projects in the country, including the province of Albay and Zamboanga City in southern Philippines
Queen Sofia will leave the country on Friday.
