Catching up with Romney's Mexican cousins

For the past decade Mitt Romney and his family, 30 people in all get together in his compound at a lake side in New England. They spend a week there every year, This is the time of year they play sports, eat meals that were home cooked and get on their boat to go to Bailey's Bubble which is an ice cream shop which has been open since the 1930s.

In a way, this vacation is different. This year Romney who is a Republican will be in a contest with President Obama to become the next Presient of the United States. It also means more guests at the familiy's compound because seceret service men have to follow Romney wherever he goes. On Monday July 2, 2012 teh secret service were in a boat with huge outboard engines while Romney and wife, Ann were jet skiing. He went jet skiing because he and the family, and of course, the Secret service went to the beach a few miles away from his compound.

aHe walked around one day on the compound with his grand children and let go of his professional personna and and went barefeet! Yesterday he visited friends in the neighborhood.

Ann Romney said, "It's just so nice to have everybody together", she said Sunday July 1, 212 after Church then added, "We never get to see them all together anymore."

This wil be Romney's last vacation before the Republican National Convention in late August then the Presidential race really kicks off and it is a grueling race.
