On Sunday night, a toddler reportedly vanished from his South Pauline Street (Memphis) home; the '3-year-old disappeared while I was asleep,' claims his dad. Maurice Brown Sr., an alleged ‘Grapestreets’ gang member fears; Maurice Brown Jr. may have been kidnapped by a rival gang.
Memphis dad, who is an admitted affiliate of the aforementioned gang, says it was around 8:30 p.m. when he came to know that Maurice Brown Jr. was missing. He further informed the police that a second child, 1-year-old, who was also there at home, however remained unharmed.
The devastated father fears his son has been kidnapped by members of a rival gang and thus police immediately started combing Memphis for Maurice Brown Jr., a 3-foot-tall, 65-pound child wearing a Batman shirt along with blue jeans.
Maurice Brown Sr. claims he was asleep in the house but by the time he awoke up; his son was already gone. Mr. Brown said further that he searched the house but his son was nowhere to be found. He said that he even looked around the entire block riding his car but when failed to find the toddler; he decided to call the police.
Maurice Sr. strongly believes that since there are countless people that hate him; it’s very much possible that some of his enemies may have abducted the child; as retaliation. Search efforts were underway till the last news arrived.
