Another lawsuit is coming up against W.i.P., the site of last month’s notorious Chris Brown-Drake scuffle.
In the bottle throwing brawl at the close nightclub, two women were injured and filed suit against its owners today, saying it was the club’s laxity that led to the unruly confrontation between the rival hip-hop stars’ entourages.
Financial planner Lucy Pavlovsky, 24, and model Nadia Beddini, 27, doesn’t name Brown or Drake in the joint suit but the women’s lawyer, Javier Solano, says that is subject to change.
What happened that night was Pavlovsky was with rapper Fabolous when the chaos exploded, and suffered two gashes to her arm that needed 12 stitches to close. While Beddini, who’d been brought in to the VIP area by an unknown person, suffered lacerations on her legs and fell when the bottles started flying, Solano said.
The lawsuit is the second to be filed against the close club where basketball star Tony Parker also sued. Parker suffered a scratched cornea in the fracas that cost him his chance to play for France in the summer Olympics.
W.i.P. and its parent nightclub, Greenhouse, were closed by the NYPD soon after the June 14th melee.
