FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Kayak Fishing ClassicS will be at the 2012 ICAST Show in early July. The International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades will be held in Orlando, Florida July 11 – 13 and is produced by the American Sportfishing Association (ASA).
The Kayak Fishing ClassicS Tournament Trail Magazine staff, including founder Captain Pat Horrigan will be on hand to interview manufactures of new kayak fishing products. In addition the magazines film crew will be filming the event and staff journalists will be cooking up articles about the amazing gathering of manufacturing and design talent. The magazine has set up several interviews and the staff is looking forward to the event.
The Kayak Fishing ClassicS Tournament Trail Magazine is unique in that it is the only publication dedicated to the tournament kayak angler. The Kayak Fishing ClassicS puts on an open Gulf Coast tournament series and will add the East Coast to the saltwater series in 2013. The ClassicS staff will be looking at fishing rod innovations, GPS systems, spin and fly reel technology and cameras, all at the request of contestants in the series. The magazine will follow up with articles and photography of new products in these related fields.
As the ClassicS expands and more and more anglers fish in unfamiliar waters, the need of a good GPS has become apparent. Fishing rod technology is always of interest as are fly reels and spinning reels. There has also been giant innovations in small, waterproof camera technology which is also of high interest.
There are so many fantastic products at the ICAST Show that we would need a couple of weeks to take it all in. We will have to focus our efforts to the main product interests in the first day in order to speak with everyone that we need to. Our second day schedule will be more relaxed and hopefully we will be able to include other areas of interest in our interviews. We have a photo shoot and ExOfficio interview on July 13 and a tournament on the fourteenth so we will have a very busy week, said Captain Pat.
