
Baton Rouge Louisiana. Baton Rouge police are investigating a case of a man who was stabbed to death outside a Baton Rouge club Sunday morning.
Captain Elton Brown Jr., said the motive of the stabbing death of Juan Lopez, 26, of Baton Rouge is still unknown.
Brown said Baton Rouge police officers were called to the Latin Club located on 8142 Greenwell Springs Road around 1:50am Sunday.
Brown said officer from the 3rd district arrived at the scene and they saw Lopez laying on the curb with stab wounds to his upper body.
Brown said eyewitnesses saw Lopez being attacked by another man after a brawl outside the club. Emergency medical services personnel took Lopez to a Baton Rouge hospital where he passed away.
Brown said eyewitnesses provided the police with "suspect information." Anyone who has information in this incident is asked to call the Baton Rouge police at 225-389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at 225-344-STOP.
