Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal expressed willful defiance not to implement ObamaCare in his state irrespective of the high court’s ruling. He contends that Affordable Care Act is a “blow to our freedoms” which the president has “forced on us.” This action of the governor ignites the flames of unquenchable hate and rancor against the signatory of law and the measure itself.
Jindal entertained as one of the possible vice presidential running mate preferences for Mitt Romney in this year’s election, was very expressive of his disgust over the Supreme Court’s upheld of the law. The governor’s behavior towards ObamaCare encourages other state governors to follow suit.
Outright disrespect of the law by not implementing in one’s own state like the governor of Louisiana is an example of going against the “rule of law” puts it on one’s hand. The law as it has passed scrutiny of the Supreme Court is viewed as perfect despite of flaws people generally perceived about it. Governor Jindal must know that obedience to the law by implementing will correct and perfect itself.
Jindal’s sheer arrogance against the Affordable Care Act makes him violate his oath as governor. Also, his defiance against it is an expressed transgression of the Constitution of the United States of America that he was sworn in to abide, to obey and to defend it at all times.
Jindal’s behavior is a matter of his own choice and he must not provoke and encourage other governors not to implement the law. Otherwise, he is encouraging concerted efforts to violate the law more than enough to constitute a “conspiracy” against the Federal Government of America.
