Should Kate Middleton Bend A Knee To Beatrice?

Report By: Nina Rai

London, June 30, 2012:

As per the latest Royal ‘Order of Precedence,’ the Duchess of Cambridge may be constrained to curtsy to the ‘blood princesses’ even if they are younger to her. However, Duchess Kate needs to just bide her time, before she has the last laugh. Ultimately, it is she who is going to have the upper hand in this entire equation.

Someday in future, Duchess Kate's husband Prince William is going to be the King of England. That will automatically elevate her position in the royal ‘Order of Precedence’ or hierarchy. Presently, albeit non-verbally, the Duchess may still be a commoner, however the birth of her first born will give mother Catherine her rightful place in the sun, ultimately sealing the deal.

According to some Royal analysts in the media, it will eventually force out some members of the extended royal family who have been enjoying a lot of perks by virtue of their birth and blood relation to the royals. Analysts opine that its true Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are 'blood princesses' as relatives of the Queen.

After all they are the daughters of Queen's son Prince Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson (ironically a commoner), and therefore enjoy the privileges that go with their royal birth. But it won’t last long, when Prince Charles takes over the reins from his mother, Queen Elizabeth. Royal insiders opine Charles has some pretty grand plans up his sleeves and his siblings and their offspring do not feature in them anywhere.

Apparently, the Prince of Wales is hoping to trim the broad royal entourage and just keep around eight members of the family employed as full-time Royals. This, if indeed true, in effect means Beatrice and Eugenie would be left out in the cold and forced to fend for themselves, in other words get employed elsewhere. Wonder, what their mother the fiery Sarah Fergusson would have to say to this!!!

So as the fate of some members of the royal family hangs in balance, it is no wonder, hard feelings are shimmering just below the surface, believe royal analysts. At the end of the day, no matter how charming and lovely a person Kate may be at heart, she is still a commoner who has usurped their position.

Moreover, Catherine has done all in her power to get into the Queen’s good books, never antagonizing her and even securing her future in the royal family. Remember, now largely due to the Queen’s effort, Will and Kate’s first born irrespective of the sex will be the future monarch of England.

A significant act that triggered a spate of royal annoyance occurred during one of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee events. By permitting only her son Charles, his wife Camilla, his kids William and Harry and (above all) Catherine to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during the flyby, the Queen seems to have sent out a pretty loud message. That for all purposes they are the senior royals and the future of the monarchy. Of course, this message would not have been lost on the others.

Now in all these royal re-alignments, even Prince Harry is not spared. Some analysts are predicting that once Kate and Will's first child takes birth, it will even leave Prince Harry out in the cold, as well. (Something one finds really difficult to swallow, considering how much Prince William loves his younger sibling).

However, from Harry’s point of view, analysts opine that even if such a scenario does happen it would not really hurt Harry's feelings. As it is Harry is one fella who makes its amply clear that being a Royal is a tough act, almost like an albatross around his neck rather than a blessing. He would be more than glad to roam freely, choose his own mate to marry, without the added burden of producing a future heir to the throne.
