Katie Holmes files divorce from Tom Cruise after 5 years of marriage

It's Over! Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes getting divorced

Katie Holmes filed divorce to husband Tom Cruise after 5 years of marriage. She cited the reason as irreconcilable differences and wants sole legal custody of their six year old daughter Suri.

In addition to this she asked for division of their property although no pre nuptial is mentioned in the documents. She said that for five years being with Tom she felt like a robot and the relationship was too much for her. According to a source,” Katie has actually got a great personality and she used to be spunky and feisty. She changed so much when she was with Tom, she became downtrodden and insipid.In the end it just got too much, she was sick of it and decided she had to do something. Basically, she grew up and lost the starstruck goggles she had been wearing.”

Tom Cruise who is presently in Iceland filming new action movie Oblivion is believed to haven't seen the documents yet. This will be the third failed marriage following from the split from Nicole Kidman and Mimi Rogers.
