The 2012 World Grand Prix Finals Results are in and the United States are still unbeaten in third day of the 5-day World Grand Prix Womens Volleyball Finals round-robin format.

United States beat Turkey 3-1 Friday to remain as the only team unbeaten with 8 points at the 2012 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix Finals currently held in Ningbo, China. USA is currenly World No. 1 and World Grand Prix defending champions.

The Finals features World's ranked top six teams of Brazil, Cuba, Turkey, Thailand, USA and including host China after the preliminary round.

June 27: Brazil vs USA - USA won 3-2

June 27: Thailand vs Turkey - Turkey won 3-1

June 27: China vs Cuba - China won 3-0

June 28: USA vs Thailand - USA won 3-1

June 28: Cuba vs Turkey - Turkey won 3-0

June 28: China vs Brazil - Brazil won 3-1

June 29: Brazil vs Cuba - Brazil won 3-0

June 29: Turkey vs USA - USA won 3-1

June 29: China vs Thailand - Thai won 3-2

June 30: Brazil vs Thailand - Brazil won 3-0

June 30: Cuba vs USA - USA won 3-0

June 30: China vs Turkey - Turkey won 3-1

In third game against Turkey, Megan Hodge had 23 kills to lead the American women to their third straight victory. while the World Grand Prix Finals debutants from Turkey suffered their first defeat in three matches. Beijing Olympic champions Brazil swept Cuba 3-0 for their second win in a row, Cuba is winless with 3 loses in a row.

In the last match of the day, Thailand defeated the host China 3-2 for its first victory here in Ningbo while the Chinese women slipped to an 1-2 win-loss record. The USA Women's volleyball should win in the last 2 reamaining games with Brazil trailing behind with just 1 point. USA will play with Cuba and China next while Brazil needs to win against Thailand and Turkey. After Friday’s action, the United States led the standings with 8 points and Brazil was second at 7, followed by Turkey (6), China (4), Thailand (2) and Cuba (0).
